Zameen Chakra- Ground Fireworks
Subject: Zameen Chakra
Story Behind the Shot : Zameen Chakra is a ground firework. We need to place the zameen chakra on a flat surface and light it up using fire crackers or simply an agarbathi. Once the zameen chakra is lit , it swirls round and round on the ground and then dies out after a few seconds.
It moves on the ground like a wheel hence the name Zameen Chakra .
What made me capture the image: Just an attempt at freezing the movement of a zameen chakra :)

Clever Crow
Subject: Clever Crow
Story behind the shot: The crow in this photograph flew with a cup clasped in its claw and made itself well seated on the front gate of my house. Holding the cup in its claws, it bent down quickly and ate whatever was there in the cup. After finishing its food, it dropped the cup and flew away.

Total Lunar Eclipse - December 10,2011

Subject: Total Lunar Eclipse
Story behind the shot: A total lunar eclipse took place on December 10, 2011. It was the second of two total lunar eclipses in 2011, the first having occurred on June 15. I got a chance to shoot the whole of the event since the eclipse was visible in Asia.
What made me capture the image: The fact that there will be no total eclipse for the next two and half years made me stand there in the terrace to keep shooting every minute of the eclipse. Moreover I have a lot of interest in astronomy :) These photos are only a part of the whole sequence of photos. I will upload the whole set of photos soon ..

Story behind the shot: It was a cloudy day. These two crows were in a deep discussion and it was kind of cute to look at. The two crows were sitting on the leaves of a coconut tree which was quite far away from my house.I couldn't get a very sharp and grain less image since my camera was on full zoom and there wasn't enough light available. Still something is better than nothing and I'm happy that I didn't let the moment go by unnoticed.

Hey ! Watsup ? - Peeping froggy

Story behind the shot: The moment I saw this froggy trying to climb the wall I ran to get my camera and got a shot of it. Simple as that!
What made me capture the image: The way the frog analysed the situation on the other side of the wall before climbing made me capture this shot. Moreover, the frog has a skin that merges well with the wall giving it a kind of camouflage.
